Informazioni sulle locomotive

Installazione:

Italian FS E 636 Ist, IInd and IIIrd series
Original 3D model, engine e texture: Vittorio Dell'Aquila
Beta Tester: Giovanni Malerba, Alberto Cimolai (Cimolai67) and Ciro Di Donato (Dido)

This loco was the large group of Italian electro loco ever built. Originally built in 469 units on three series, now (june 2001) only 283 units are left. The three series are slightly different, and I enclose in this addon one loco of every series. The difference between the series are the bogie (the same in II and III series), the chassis under the engineer cab and the transmission ratio:
I series: transmission ratio 21/65 max velocity 110 km/h - 69 miles/h
II series: transmission ratio 21/65 max velocity 120 km/h - 75 miles/h
III series: transmission ratio 28/65 max velocity 120 km/h - 75 miles/h
Power: 2100 kW maximum power - 1890 kW continuous power.

Installation:
1. Unzip both zip files in a temporary folder, checking if Winzip has checked "Use folder names" box.
2. Move "E636_I" "E636_II" and "E636_III" folders in Trainset directory.
3. Copy the contents of "Common_Files" folder in "E636_I" "E636_II" and "E636_III" folders.
4. If you desire to have a loco with european coupling (Chain) overwrite the .eng file with the corrispondent file that you can find in "Chain_Eng_Files" folder.
5. You don't need any CAB or Sound alias (I provided it in all three locos) but you must own the Stefano Cordaro's E424 loco with cab IN ITS ORIGINAL FOLDER otherwise the cabs of E636 don't work.
6. With MSTS Editor built your consist and drive.

A big big thanks to Alberto Cimolai to report a bug discovered by him, his mateterial and his suggestions.
